The problem

The gap between program and practice

You have a safety program on file. But when you need JOHSC minutes, WHMIS sign-offs, or incident follow-up, the records are scattered across folders, inboxes, and notebooks.

Today

  • Violence prevention program in a binder nobody opens
  • WHMIS training records in a spreadsheet, or just a sign-in sheet
  • JOHSC meeting minutes in someone's notebook
  • Incident reports filed in a drawer and never followed up
  • Safety Data Sheets in a binder that hasn't been updated in two years
  • Area manager chasing sites for missing records

With Duty Room

  • Live health and safety record per site
  • Violence prevention program tracked and reviewed annually
  • WHMIS training completion visible at a glance
  • JOHSC meeting schedule and minutes in one place
  • Incident reports with follow-up actions tracked
  • Export or share in one click

Questions & Answers

How long does setup take?

Under 10 minutes to activate and invite your team. Loading your adviser's program takes as long as you have time for. Start with the most important records and add as you go.

Do I need to be technical?

No. If your team can use a phone, they can use Duty Room.

Do we need a JOHSC?

That's for you and your safety adviser or HR to decide based on your site size and WorkSafeBC rules. Once you know what applies, Duty Room tracks your committee or worker representative meetings, inspections, and minutes in one place.

Does this replace our current policies?

No. Duty Room tracks your policies, reviews, and staff acknowledgements. You still need the policies themselves. We help you keep them current and show who has read them.

What about reporting incidents to WorkSafeBC?

Duty Room tracks incident details, timelines, and follow-up actions. Serious injuries must still be reported to WorkSafeBC immediately. Duty Room helps you keep the documentation organised.

Is this proof of legal compliance?

No. Duty Room gives you organised records of follow-through on the policies, training, and checks you've set up. Your safety adviser is the one who judges whether those are the right ones for your workplace.

Where is my data stored?

Canadian-hosted infrastructure. Your data stays in Canada.

What can I export if I leave?

Everything. Your data is yours.
